The black and white paint drawing is laid out on the wall during the week prior to Paint Day, and all the colors are mixed up.
Early on Paint Day (Saturday morning) students start painting in the colors.
As the day progresses, more and more colors get filled in..
Both the background and details on the figures are painted in at the same time.
Nearing the end of the day, the mural is almost complete. The students are working hard to get the details right and fill in any gaps.
